Student Mode of Dress
The dress code for San Benito CISD is established to teach grooming and hygiene, prevent disruption, and minimize safety hazards. Students dress or grooming shall be neat, clean, properly fitting, decent, in good taste, and shall not include grotesque extremes or fads that may create interruption of the learning process of the orderly administration of school-related activities or create a safety hazard for students or other persons on or off campus.
Parents may determine their child’s personal dress and grooming standards provided that they comply with the following:
Students are required to wear polo shirts with or without Fred Booth logo.
Polo shirts must be tucked in at all times including during the after school program.
The following colors will be required every day (Monday – Friday).
- PK-3 Headstart Navy Blue
- Pre-Kinder Grey
- Kinder Baby Blue
- 1st Grade Maroon
- 2nd Grade Orange
- 3rd Grade Purple
- 4th Grade Yellow / Gold
- 5th Grade Hunter Green
Students are able to wear jeans/pants or shorts in the following colors (belts optional):
NO camouflage pants or shorts.
NO Basketball Shorts.
Shorts must touch the knees.
Girls may wear uniform jumper, uniform polo style dress, or uniform skort that touch the knees in the following colors:
Campus team shirts, district spirit (Greyhound) shirts may be worn on Fridays ONLY during the first semester.
College shirts may be worn on Fridays ONLY during the second semester.
If a student does not have a spirit shirt or college shirt, they must wear their school polo shirt.
Closed shoes or tennis shoes are required during days they are scheduled to go to P.E.
- Los estudiantes deberán usar camisetas polo con o sin el logo de Fred Booth.
- Camisa polo deberá estar fajada (dentro del pantalón) en todo momento, incluyendo durante el programa después de la escuela.
- Los colores siguientes serán requeridos todos los días (de lunes a viernes).
